About the New Logo

The new logo is an obvious parody of "Lake Holiday riding the Wave". Ours also employs extensive symbology and is indicitive of a new era. The ripples stands for choppy waters ahead. The title is sinking under water, warning of possible financial difficulties if spending isn't curbed. Still breathing however, the message visible from the surface and salvation is at hand. The blue colors denote truth and coolness, or lack of rhetoric. Use of the old name reminds us that we cannot escape our heritage. The script tries to mimic the Lake Holiday logo, which is a nonstandard custom font. Taken in aggregate, it symbolizes that some people have nothing better to do with their time.

Our Mission

The Summit Advisor's mission is to deliver relevant news and opinion to the community. We want this to be your forum and a place you trust for community information. We believe that an independent forum keeps our leadership on track and honest, and provides an outlet for articles not possible in a board managed publication. Be sure to bookmark our home page and check back often!

We invite your opinion, and will publish your e-mails in our community forum section if you wish. Please see the forum page for instructions. We also invite committee news articles, and reports of meeting activity. Some articles and e-mail may be controversial, and may not necessarily reflect the opinion of the web owner. E-mails and articles may be published anonymously. We believe the need to voice opinion and information outweighs the need to identify the source.
